Overview

This book examines the two primary foundations of Christian faith. The first is the large body of Old Testament Scriptures that accurately predict many details of Jesus' life. The second is the highly credible testimony of early Christians that Jesus was a teacher of surpassing genius who performed miracles and rose from the dead.

Features

The book begins by summarizing key evidence that the Bible's historical records are trustworthy. Then, by means of careful arguments, it establishes that the Gospels in particular are a reliable source of information; also, that Jesus' recorded words are dramatic proof of His superior mind. The major portion of the book shows how Jesus fulfilled the whole body of specific Old Testament prophecies concerning the Messiah. Lastly, it offers compelling reasons for accepting the New Testament record of Jesus' miracles and resurrection.
